Now on exhibit... special exhibitor, Mary Lou Sherman, with her body of work titled "Caligraffiti" is now on display through July 19th! Come to The Artisan Center, Fridays and Saturdays 11am to 7pm for a very personal art experience!

Winning artist of the "Creating Conflict: Opposing Emotions..." art challenge is...

Mrs. Jean Schettler with an oil on canvas titled "This Ain't Shakespeare!"

The owner and operator of Firefly Farm Art Studio in Lanesville, Jean not only designs and paints her own creations, but also teaches classes in decorative and fine art painting. She enjoys a wide range of artistic interests, but her favorite subject matter is personal. Jean’s paintings often depict family, friends, pets, and the beautiful scenery and wildlife on the 16-acre farm she shares with husband Karl.

For years, Jean studied extensively with many nationally known artists, and she now gives back by teaching other artists around southern Indiana and Kentucky. She has won numerous awards from art exhibits around the region, and her work is found in the Library of Congress, the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C., the Indiana State Capitol, and the office of the mayor of Jeffersonville, as well as many private collections.
